Senior Product Designer - SaaS Platform/ Financial Services

<p>Heta has joined Futureheads as a Consultant, bringing her expertise across all Tech and Engineering skill sets, with a background in Infrastructure, Cloud, and Networks. She is passionate about working holistically with both candidates and clients, focusing on building long-term relationships and delivering exceptional service&mdash;values that are deeply rooted in the culture at Futureheads.</p>
<p>Outside of her role in connecting people within the Tech industry, Heta pursues her other passions: teaching yoga and studying to become an Ayurvedic practitioner. She has a real love for travel, enjoying learning new languages, exploring different cultures, and trying new foods. Some of her travel highlights include trekking in Nepal, exploring Kenya, and discovering the wonders of Japan.</p>
<p>Come and get to know Heta better as we ask her about her first two months at Futureheads and what inspired her to get into recruitment.</p>

<h3>What inspired you to get into recruitment?</h3>
<p>I&rsquo;m an ex-accountant turned tech recruiter that teaches yoga and a trainee Ayurvedic practitioner. If it wasn&rsquo;t for lockdown I wouldn&rsquo;t have made the transition so early on, but I realised I wanted to make a difference and align my skills to something I was more suited to. Once I got into recruitment, I just knew I wouldn&rsquo;t ever go back to accounting, and it was the right call I made.</p>
<h3>What motivated you to join Futureheads?</h3>
<p>I was taking my search and next steps seriously when I was looking for a second recruitment role, I wanted somewhere where I could belong and make a real difference. My values are a key part of who I am and when I found out that Futureheads had the same viewpoint, I knew this was it. I saw the things they had done to make an impact socially and the B corp aspect really shows this.</p>
<h3>What has your first 2 months been like?</h3>
<p>The first two months have been enjoyable, it&rsquo;s been invigorating and have learnt a lot which has really changed my lens on the way I see things. I can be myself and have been accepted so easily, it&rsquo;s refreshing and makes me want to do better.</p>
<h3>What are you looking forward to next?</h3>
<p>I&rsquo;m looking forward to reaching my goals, one of which I&rsquo;m keen on is to expand the DevOps, Cloud and Infrastructure desk as I specialise in this area. To also better myself and bringing more to the table with ideas I have been given the freedom to expand on, so watch this space!</p>

She is 2 years old and currently wants me to build her a 'space rocket to go to the moon' But one day she will have a career of her own &amp; I hope she will be able to take any path she chooses without limitation.</span></p>

<h3>Men have long dominated the tech industry, but the importance of gender diversity in this field cannot be overstated. Hiring more women brings valuable perspectives and talents to the table and helps create a more inclusive and innovative work environment. <p>Research indicates that women are less likely to apply for a role unless they meet close to 100% of the requirements, while men are comfortable applying with around 60% match. To attract more women applicants, consider reducing the essential qualifications and removing non-essential "nice-to-have" requirements.</p>

Toby Thwaites

<p>Toby joined Futureheads in 2011 as a Resourcer and one of the business's original recruits.</p>
<p>He now oversees all sales initiatives across the Futureheads business. Toby leads the Senior Sales management team in order to deliver an efficient, first-class experience to our clients and candidates.</p>
<p>When not at work, Toby loves countryside living with his partner and Labrador (Olive), good food, nurturing his garden, and going on new adventures.&nbsp;</p>

Joseph Cardone

<p>Joseph is a UI and Product Design Senior Consultant for Futureheads.</p>
<p>He has a background in Sales and previously worked for companies such as Tesla and JIVR.&nbsp;As part of the Design Team at Futureheads Joseph works across a broad range of clients from small start-ups, consultancies/agencies and big brands. His main focus is working with permanent UI &amp; Product Designers.</p>
<p>Outside of work, Joseph is a DJ and Music Producer. He's been doing that for over 15 years. He's also a salsa dancer and loves to cook Italian food.&nbsp;</p>

Kevel Rathod

<p>Kevel drives strategic partnerships at Futureheads and SyncD. Collaborating with industry leaders to create innovative solutions and drive mutual growth.</p>
<p>With his vast experience in recruitment, Kevel has a great understanding of his candidates' motivations and clients' requirements. As well as truly getting to know the clients he works with to ensure a smooth client relationship.</p>
