<p>We are working with CleanTech company based in the Maritime industry who are one of the top 1000 fastest growing businesses in Europe. The Data team are expanding and looking for an Automation Software Engineer to be part of several Greenfield projects as the company looks to build out their own data systems reducing the reliance on third party products.&nbsp;<br><br>This is a position is broken down into three core area:<br><br></p>
<ol>
<li>Systems Administrator: Knowledge of Industrial PC and understands networking, firewall and Cyber Security</li>
<li>Automation Engineer: Understands PLC's and can assist with design and development</li>
<li>Cloud Engineer: Automation software aggregating data from sensors and pushing out to Azure&nbsp;IOT Hub</li>
</ol>
<p>If you posses elements of all of these then please do apply as the role is brand new and are able to upskill and adapt to the right person. &nbsp;<br><br><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br><br></p>
<ul>
<li>Collaboratively design, develop, secure, test and deploy modern OT/IIoT solutions for the business &nbsp;in a challenging marine environment</li>
<li>Identify and understand all required standards and certifications, and ensure they are met</li>
<li>Identify and manage technical risks</li>
<li>Provide subject matter technical support to the Technical and Data team</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Experience</strong><br><br></p>
<ul>
<li>Must have a demonstrable experience working in modern automation and control (OT, Industrial IoT, Industry 4.0, Azure IoT Hub, etc.) using PLCs, ideally in the maritime industry</li>
<li>Must be capable of developing and deploying an extremely robust, secure and always-up modern OT system with remote monitoring, configuration and updates</li>
<li>Strong experience of PLC programming using Structured Text and following IEC 61131</li>
<li>Strong experience of PLC simulation and test using modern development tools such as CoDeSys</li>
<li>Strong development experience using remote IOs, HMIs and Industrial PC</li>
</ul>
