They’ve been assembling a talented internal digital team to deliver this work, and they’re now looking to make their first in-house Product Design hire.<br><br><br>As a Product Designer, you will lead the design of a greenfield web platform; shaping new solutions, user journeys, and experiences for both the consumers and businesses that will interact with it. Furthermore, you’ll develop their design system, validate new ideas and build out shared components that will serve as the standard for new products to come.<br><br><br>This role will suit a Product Designer that leans towards UX, as it will involve lots of user research and testing. And as the charity’s first in-house designer, it’s crucial that you’re able to work autonomously and can bring the breadth of experience to implement ‘best practice’ for UCD, ultimately establishing the benchmark / processes for design and research across the org.<br><br><br>Requirements:<br><br><br>✅4+ years of end-to-end Product Design experience.<br>✅An up-to-date portfolio, showcasing the live products you’ve designed. <br>✅Experience with both B2C and B2B platforms, with a focus on web (preferably multi-sided platforms).<br>✅Strong understanding of user-centered design and interaction design principles.<br>✅Have developed new design systems.<br>✅Able to leverage a broad range of user research & testing methods.<br>✅Great collaborator, but also able to work autonomously as designer.<br>✅Purpose driven, with a track record and/or passion for driving ‘tech-for-good’ initiatives.<br><br><br>If you’re an experienced Product Designer that’s looking for a exciting purpose-driven opportunity, then please apply.<br /><br /><em><em>We encourage applicants from all backgrounds, so if there is anything we can do to make our recruitment processes better for you and to allow you to show your best self, let us know. Jamie Perlmutter

<p>Jamie has worked in the tech/digital sector for over a decade and since joining Futureheads in 2016, he&rsquo;s helped a number of leading businesses to scale and achieve their strategic and commercial goals.<br>&nbsp;<br>His recruitment mantra (inspired by a poster in one of our meeting rooms) is to work hard and be nice to people. In practice, this means Jamie strives to go the extra mile, providing clear channels of communication and leveraging his problem-solving skills to create positive experiences for candidates and clients alike.<br>&nbsp;<br>Jamie&rsquo;s a hands-on recruiter and people manager whose experience includes both embedded and 360 contingency recruitment, spanning all talent disciplines across the product development lifecycle. However, his sweet spot is Product Design, UX, Service Design and User Research.<br>&nbsp;<br>Outside of work, when Jamie&rsquo;s not busy being a dad to his young son, you&rsquo;ll either find him at gigs, eating fancy burgers or complaining from the North Bank at the Emirates Stadium.&nbsp;</p>
