<p>Futureheads is managing the hiring process for a business who have built a personalised digital banking platform which enables those in retail banking to have the access to invest in what would usually be bespoke to financial institutions.&nbsp;<br><br>As a Lead Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for the architecture, implementation and support of features for the platform whilst also being a leader to more junior members of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the existing engineering standards and delivering high quality code alongside overseeing an agile, multi-disciplined engineering squad.&nbsp;</p>
<ul>
<li>They use Node.js and TypeScript for their backend microservices&nbsp;</li>
<li>Postgres/Auora for their data storage&nbsp;</li>
<li>GitLab CI to automate their development and deployment&nbsp;</li>
<li>Lambda&nbsp;</li>
<li>API Gateway to manage access to their MicroService APIs</li>
<li>Kubernetes, Docker to operate their platform service runtime environment</li>
<li>AWS.&nbsp;</li>
<li>The role is 2x per week in their London office.&nbsp;<br><br><strong>Benefits:</strong>&nbsp;</li>

Joe Parry

<p>Joe sits within the Engineering team and works across the stack filling Front End, Full Stack and Backend positions within the JavaScript sphere.</p>
<p>Joe works alongside various start-up businesses that are looking to make critical software hires to both help teams and products grow by matching skillsets alongside cultural fit for clients and candidates.</p>
<p>Outside of work, Joe has his hands full running after his two toddlers alongside his wife, whilst also trying to find time to watch live sports and grab a beer with friends.&nbsp;</p>
