<p>Recruiting an Associate Data Engineer to join a team of data experts and drive the success of a Global Media Company by shaping the data &amp; analytics architecture that supports nearly 500 users and 200 well-known magazines and radio stations across 17 countries.<br><br>As an Associate Data Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work on diverse sources and blend them to create valuable insights for our brands and consumers. You'll work with the team on interesting projects such as SCV (Single Customer View), get involved with our ESP (Email Service Provider), and play a leading role in large-scale projects that will shape the future of our company.<br><br><strong>Experience</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>SQL (Postgres, MySQL, etc) highly competent in building complex database queries.</li>
<li>Senior Stakeholder Engagement</li>
<li>BI &amp; Analytics Platform (e.g. Looker, Power BI, Tableau)</li>
<li>Strong presentation skills</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Nice to have</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>R or Python to build, maintain and orchestrate data pipelines across the business</li>
<li>API and coding/scripting pipelines to surface and transform data into analysis friendly assets using technologies such as BigQuery and Amazon Redshift</li>
<li>Google Analytics/Firebase</li>
<li>CRM data support either through segmentation of users or through data generation &amp; permissions</li>

<p>Sarah has recently joined the Newcastle office and works across multiple disciplines including Product and Project, Marketing and Social Media, Data and QA both Permanent and Contract roles.&nbsp;</p>
<p>As part of the Newcastle team, Sarah works across a broad range of roles and with a wide range of candidates, and she prides herself in building and harnessing strong relationships. She works in a consultative manner with clients helping them to onboard the best talent.</p>
<p>Outside of work Sarah's life revolves around good food and socialising with her friends and family. She loves to get lost in a good book and long walks with her husband, kids and labrador.</p>
